 Volatility in the case was caused by rapidly changing customer tastes, which
resulted in a 3.5percent decline in the company's profitability over the course of
one (1) year, from 2016 to 2017. In terms of the company's future, there is also
uncertainty in the case; the case study details the situation of Pizza Hut
Management's inability to forecast the future. They didn't anticipate how their
customers would order, what ingredients they would want, or how they would
eat their pizza. The complexity of these aspects does not benefit the corporation
because it must develop a strategy and a series of methods to fulfill the desires
of their customers. Ambiguity is defined as a lack of clarity in interpreting the
business environment. It is unknown if Pizza Hut. It is unclear whether Pizza Hut
will simply have to emulate its main competitors by increasing their web
presence, delivering fresh ingredients, and offering gluten-free options. They will
also be required to perform high-speed meal preparation, as requested by their
clients.

 Pizza Hut may reclaim its market share by utilizing data collection and analytics,
which employs the concept of foresight in assessing their customers' desires and
preferences via surveys and comments. For example, because we are still in a
pandemic era and most people are staying at home, they rely on internet
services such as delivery companies that deliver orders door to door. As a result
of this analysis, Pizza Hut has a number of options, including concentrating on a
specific type of marketing, such as digital marketing, to strengthen their online
presence. To remain competitive in the market, the organization must also
identify any gaps between its chosen strategy and its execution.
