Kossuth, Greater Deity of Fire
en a
|About Kossuth
Iso kown as the Firelord or The Lord of
Flames, Kossuth is the primordial god of fire
who lives in the elemental plane of fire. He
shows litle interest in mortal affairs, even
when his followers are involved, although
he still awards power to those who worship
him. Such as the element he presides over,
Kossuth is known for his consuming rage and sees fire as
the strongest and purest of the natural elements.
Kossuth’s holy symbol is twining red flames, which can be
seen on temples dedicated to him, as well as in necklaces
‘carried by his followers.
Relationship with other Deities:
The Firelord despises Istishia, the primordial god of
water, seeing him as weak and undisciplined. On the other
hand, The Lord of Flames is respectful of Bane for their
shared esteem of strong hierarchies and disregard for
chaos.
Gods of the forge such as Meradin have Kossuth in high
regard due to the importance fire holds for their awn
domain,
‘The Church of Kossuth:
‘Those who follow the Firelord often join The Church of
Kossuth, a heavily hierarchical and mysterious religious
institution. Its ranks are divided into Terraces, with those
in the lower terraces abdicating from most physical
possessions and indulgences and donating their worldly
possessions to those in the higher terraces. As one
advances in the ranks ofthis religion, they are granted
rewards, wealth, and power; however, to ascend to new
terraces, worshipers of Kossuth must prove themselves
through hardships and challenges, which often prove fatal.
The highest title within a temple of Kossuth is that of
Eternal Flame, the position that presides aver all other
terraces in a temple,
The church preaches the supremacy of fire and its purity
‘over all other elements, which often brings about conflict
with followers of other deities.
"Smoke is produced by air in its
Jealousy of fire."

Kossuth join the Tendrils, a faction with well
defined hierarchies that makes up the most of
their ecclesiastical power. Its members are
tasked with overseeing the Firelord's temples,
preaching to the surrounding communities, and
overseeing ceremonies. Those in the lower
levels (or Terraces) of the command chain give

Kossuth become missionaries (known as
Burning Braziers in their ranks), and are tasked
with traveling throughout the land in order to
recruit new followers, mainly from among the
poor population. These missionaries are
