Patrick Meyer

Overview
This recipe will take you through a very beginner friendly buffalo chicken dip recipe that goes
great with tortilla chips or anything else you might use dip for. The only necessary knowledge is
how to use an oven and basic kitchen utensils. Listed below is everything that is needed to
complete this recipe.

Required Materials

 Oven and stove top

 8 in x 11in x 1.5 foil pan
 1 Large and 1 Small Mixing Bowl
 Spatula or Spoon
 1 cup measuring cup
 Common kitchen utensils

Required Ingredients

 1-pound chicken breast

 1-pound cream cheese (2 blocks)
 1 cup ranch dressing
 1 cup buffalo sauce
 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
Preparation
1. Cook the chicken breast in your preferred manner. I recommend boiling as this makes
the shredding process easier.
2. Shred the chicken into small strips.
Tip: Using two forks to pull it apart makes this process very easy.
3. Preheat your oven to 350⁰ F.
4. Mix the 1 cup of ranch and the 1 cup of buffalo sauce into the small mixing bowl.

At this stage you should have these

items.

Combining Ingredients
1. Add the shredded chicken and the combined ranch and buffalo sauce into the large
mixing bowl and coat the chicken in the sauce.
2. Using the spatula spread the cream cheese along the bottom of the foil baking pan.
Tip: Warm the cream cheese in the microwave to make spreading easier.
3. Add the coated chicken and sauce over the cream cheese in the pan and spread to
create an even layer in the pan.
4. Sprinkle cheese over the top of the chicken.
Note: The amount of cheese is personal preference based on how cheesy you want the
dip to turn out.
Prior to going in the oven your pan
should look similar to this.

5. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
