Labour Exploitation in the context of
Bangladesh

employs millions of workers but has been
ignorant about the safety of its workers.
Rana Plaza’s collapse on 24 april 2013 is
a proof of that. To make things worse
garments factories remained open
throughout Covid 19 where workers
performed their tasks in congested
area.This indicates that the safety of a
worker’s life irrelevant compared to the
profit margin of businesses.

are not capable enough to ensure the wages and
workplace conditions.
