An Investigation of Plate Vibrations in Fluid

having Crack at Random Angles and Locations

Abstract RESULTS
There are numerous applications of submerged plates
found in engineering structures like ships, submarines
etc. There are possibilities that sources of vibration
might be present in them and might be harmful to them.
Therefore, it is essential to comprehend the vibration
characteristics of plates subjected to variable
loading for better and reliable designs. We are
investigating the plates vibrations in fluid having crack
at random angle and locations.
Objectives
 Understanding the research work already carried out
on the proposed topic
 Design and fabrication of experimental setup

 Experimentation to determine the vibration response of

plates
