An Investigation of Plate Vibrations in Fluid

having Crack at Random Angles and Locations

Abstract RESULTS
The accurate analysis of vibrating structures are
found very much important in engineering study to
ensure their safety and excellent performance. This
project is also based on the vibration of submerged
engineering structures with cracks. This study will
propose the modelling of isotropic plate vibrating in
fluid with a crack at random angles and locations. The
effect of crack angle, crack location, fluid level and
immersed depth of plate on the natural frequencies
and amplitude will be investigated. It will include both
experimental and theoretical modelling.
