focused/unfocused the days a dragonfly a ladybug a hedgehog


notes written calls made the sculpture of recycled glass reflects
star sun idea more door than square the instant tracing
the shoes the paintbrush language as dream language as chrysalis

blue star in a sand field

I take sensibility & bury it in the garden. I abandon the conformity of a pincushion.
we struggle to complete the sentences as though they will unlock the cupboard.
the question is a bridge, a fisherman. the old dog wanders in the night. we continue
to dream of islands.

reading three books

headache transubstantiation. there are owls hidden in the oak—vision & loss.
loss & vision. paint by number days. connect the dots. soliloquys in winter.
ranches & orange groves. the quiet of the river or the lake. meditative umbrellas.
sweatshirts. we walk in sand. we revere the sun, look to the moon for guidance.
the angels protect us. the birds remind us to listen.

of Jameson the words as maze arrows/clouds/cathedral papyrus &
experience engrave the heart in a portrait cultivate the invisible
try to stay awake
