STEP 1

BEFORE USING STERILISE YOUR CUP BY BOILING YOUR CUP FOR 5 MINUTES- pot of
boiling water with blue cup in it, bubbling water

STEP 2
WASH HANDS THOUROUGHLY,
two hands washing over running water with soap bubbles

STEP 3
USE THE PUNCH DOWN FOLD OR C FOLD
Showing hands with punch down fold and cfold

STEP 4
FIND A COMFORTABLE POSITION, SITTING OR WITH LEG PROPPED UP AND RELAX
Sitting on toilet, and another with leg proped up

STEP 5
HOLDING THE CUP IN ITS FOLDED POSITION INSERT THE CUP INTO VAGINAL CANAL
Use hand of c-fold cup in one hand and other hand of labia being spread open and cup almost
being inserted into vagina

STEP 6
INSERTED CUP
cup inserted into vagina still in c-fold

STEP 7
ROTATE CUP AND SWIPE FINGER AROUND CUP TO MAKE SURE IT HAS OPENED
index finger in vagina around cup, with a rotating arrow

STEP 8
WASH HANDS. sITTING OVER TOILET OR IN SHOWER (TO AVOID SPILLAGE) LOCATE THE
STEM OF THE CUP TO GE TO THE RIDGES

ONCE YOU HAVE GOT TO THE BASE/ RIDGES SQUEEZE THE CUP TO RELEASE THE
SUCTION

REMOVE THE CUP DOWNWARDS IN UPRIGHT POSITION\
cup being removed

STEP 12
RINSE CUP IN COLD WATER THEN WARM WATER OR WIPE WITH A ON THE GO WIPE or
USE OUR WASH FOR A SQUEAKY CLEAN CUP
cup over sink with running water

STEP
AT THE END OF YOUR CYCLE STERILIZE YOUR CUP AND STORE

2. that same image but with a finger in vagina ( this is to measure cervix height so can decide
what size cup to use.
