A newborn baby died after being found abandoned on a bus in La Trinidad town, Benguet on Tuesday morning

According to the La Trinidad PNP, the bus came from Cagayan and parked at the terminal in Barangay Cruz, and when the conductor was
cleaning, he saw the baby girl under a bus seat.

It was wrapped in a bag and jacket.

The baby was taken to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The PNP is currently investigating to determine who left the baby.
