What did you learn during this period that was new to you. _ The accurate estimation at the beginning of the project is difficult. The project complexity is a major contributor to cost estimation inaccuracies. Therefore, cost estimation across similar industries is beneficial in identifying effective practices to reduce cost implications. Hence the purpose to recognize best practices to improve cost estimation accuracy. Capital used by a company for purchase, improvement or maintenance of long- term assets to improve the efficiency or capacity of the company. Types of capital expenditures: 1, Expenses to maintain levels of operation present within the company and 2. Expenses that will enable an increase in future growth. A capital expense can neither be tangible, such as a patent. Challenges with capital: I measurement problems 2.umpredictability 3.temporal spread.
