- Definition: marketing tactic in which a company uses surprise and/or unconventional


interactions to promote a product or service. It relies on personal interaction and has
a small budget.
- Examples:

- Definition: full-screen ad that covers the entire interface of the host app and is
designed to be placed between content.
- Examples:
K: Direct mail
- Definition: marketing/publicity that is delivered physically to a prospect’s mailbox.
Common examples are postcards, flyers and catalogs. Email marketing can be
considered as part of this tactic.
