Prayer for a Board of Directors Meeting

Merciful and Loving God, You are the author of life and the source of all truth. Help us live lives of
generosity and integrity that are rooted in Your love and guided by the values of the Gospel. Grant
that in our service to [college/ university] we bring the depth of our faith, the vigor of our discipleship,
and clarity of vision only Your Spirit can impart.

As we gather today, we seek Your wisdom and guidance. Protect us from self-interest and narrow
agendas; teach us humility, and make us hungry for Your will. Be with us in our discussions and guide
our decisions so we always do what is right and just and serve worthily those who rely on us to focus
the vision, set the agenda, and ensure the viability of this noble institution.

May our service bring You glory, You who are our loving God and merciful Lord, now and forever.
