National Identity

1. What worked well for our group was that we had a moderator who did a very good job on
keeping us on a certain tone and keeping us quiet when we needed to be. There were people
who stood out as good contributor what they di well was understand what other were saying
during the group discussion. They also, raised there hands more often then not. As well as gave
constructive criticism if they think the ideas could be better

2. I think symbols of nation is good because it shows the country identity through a symbol.
Symbols of nation shows the history and the culture. For example, the coat of arms of Canada
which is a national symbol displays the queen’s crown which indicates that in Canada we were
under British rule. The symbols of nation are good because it recognizes the country on a
tourist aspect.

3. What I learned about the class is all of them were cooperative and understanding when we
were discussing about the national identity, they spoke up but not in a harsh manner but in a
good manner tone. What I also, learned was that the class would not only feed on other people
ideas but also help to make the idea better. For example, when were discussing about the poor
majority and rich minority many added ideas to the topic on why we have this culture not the
other.
