Droppable Ordnance?

Whilst we do not state we’re the first to provide this feature, we feel we have made
some headway in providing an aircraft which through the use of a saved situation
file, can drop ordnance which will have an impact on the simulation world and visibly
disappear.

The PC-9/A has the capability to carry onboard smoke grenades, and whilst we are
confident that the PC-9 does NOT have the capability to carry the CBLS-100 bomblet
system, we couldn’t really create this plane and have droppable ordnance without
some BANG!

To make use of these fantastic free flight options, simply copy the four files located
within the Combat Situations folder to your My Documents/Flight Simulator X Files
folder.

Once you next load FSX, you can open one of the IRIS saved situation files to take
advantage of our new arming and droppable ordnance system.

To use the ordnance correctly, PLEASE refer to the Pilots Handbook under the
Emergency Procedures where you will find reference to the use of droppable
ordnance.

The trigger command is liked to the brakes function in flight simulator. If you have
removed the toe brakes from the trigger to another joystick assignment, the drop
weapons function will only operate on the joystick function tied to the brakes.

Have fun!

Weeeeeee… BANG!
