1. Annie Lennox received the George Harrison Worldwide Citizen Award for her
commitment to global humanitarian activities.Since performing at Nelson Mandela's
HIV/AIDS Foundation's debut performance, "46664", Lennox has been on a mission to
raise awareness and funds for the disease, even creating her own campaign, SING, to
help women and children impacted by the virus. Lennox has also been a global
advocate for strengthening underprivileged women and girls through her group The
Circle, which seeks to eliminate gender-based discrimination, violence, and injustice.

2. Erna Solberg was given the inaugural Global Citizen Prize for a Leader In the world in
2018, during the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 in Johannesburg, South Africa, for
her dedication to campaigning for equal rights for women. The award recognizes a
public person who has fought for and executed policy measures that have significantly
improved the lives of individuals affected by poverty.
Solberg works on women's and girls' empowerment, as well as global education, as co-
chair of the UN Sustainable Development Goals advocacy group and as leader of her
own nation. Solberg's co-founded Education Commission aspires to ensure that all
children everywhere are in school within a generation Solberg also strives to deliver
quality health care and nutrition for women, children, and adolescents throughout the
world through the formation of the Global Financing Facility in collaboration with other
world leaders.
