Conclusion:

The open circuit transformer provides the transformer's core losses as well as the
shunt parameter of the equivalent circuit. Because of its voltage drop caused by the neglected
current, there will be no load current. Since the other side of the transformer is open circuit, the
circuit's output power will be zero. As a result, the core losses will be compensated by the input
supply. By altering the transformer's turns ratio, we may deduce that it is directly proportional,
the higher the ratio of the transformer the higher power input it can provide. In short circuit
transformers, The transformer short circuit test is carried out at the primary and secondary
rated currents. As a result, the total copper loss equals the full load copper loss. Because the
iron losses are a small fraction of the supplied voltage, they are ignored. In load circuit tests,
the higher the turn ratio, the higher the efficiency rate. Also, provides information on the high
temperature rates of the transformer that is under load. This load test is used to determine the
voltage regulation and efficiency rate of a load rating transformer.
