GUIDELINES FOR THE PARENTS

Regarding the functioning of the school to contain the spread of COVID-19 variant.
Dated: 09.01.2022

Dear Parents,

With reference to letter no. ASE.01/2020/Pt.-II/214, by the Government of Assam (Education


Department) dated, 07.01.2022, this is to inform that the Vidyalaya will run its classes for Class
I to V entirely in the online mode only and from class VI to XII classes will be in the offline
mode on alternate days and online on the remaining days effective from 10th January, 2022
onwards.

The students from Classes VI to XII may attend the offline classes only if the parents are willing
to send their wards to school. The following pages will have the complete guidelines and
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the offline classes and continuation of functioning of
the school on a regular basis, keeping in mind all the guidelines already in place to battle the
pandemic.

1. Overview –

I. The classes VI to XII will be conducted on the below mentioned days (three days
a week only):
(i) VI, VIII, X, XII - Monday, Wednesday & Friday
(ii) VII, IX, XI- Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday
II. The time table will be provided soon for all the offline and online classes to the
students and parents.
III. All the Covid-19 precautions are to be strictly followed in the Vidyalaya.

2. Parents/Guardians consent

a. Students will come to the school provided their parents have no objection and as such
written undertaking/confirmation from the parents should be produced in the schools.
b. Parents should ensure that their ward goes to school wearing a mask and sensitize them
not to exchange mask with others.
c. Parents may take care not to send their ward to school if the child is not feeling well.
d. Students willing to study from home through online mode maybe allowed to do so.
e. Attendance must not be enforced and must depend entirely on parental consent.
