Welcome to WORLD EDIT (Version 1.0)

What is World Edit?

It's an in-game set of tools to customize and create your own world in The Sims 4. Create
decor, trees, interactive objects, oceans, ROADS, and even Open Lots (interactive venues)
to make your own semi-open world. This giant 750x750 blank canvas is just waiting for
YOUR creativity and passion to make new worlds for the game.

HOW TO INSTALL

MANUAL-INSTALL PROCESS ON WINDOWS COMPUTERS

IF YOU INSTALLED THE SIMS 4 IN ANOTHER DIRECTORY THAN THE DEFAULT ONE, INSTALL
THE FILES IN THE APPROPRIATE ONE.

Open the WORLD EDIT Folder. It is divided in 3 parts

WORLD EDIT FULL BUILD : place the entire folder « WORLD EDIT FULL BUILD » in :
Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Mods

WORLD: place the « BG_Engagement_01.world » inside this folder in :

C/Programs(x32/x64/x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4/Data/Shared/Worlds/Areas
You need to replace the existing files in the directory

CAMERA SYSTEM place the content of this folder in :

C/Programs(x32/x64/x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4/Game/Bin/res/ You need to
replace the existing files in the directory
Once installed, make sure you activated your Mods and Script Mods in the
options of your game. You can uninstall the Mod by deleting the files in your
Mods Folder and right+click in origin to “Repair Game”

FOR SOME MAC OS COMPUTERS, THE SIMS 4.APP IS NOT LOCATED IN THE MAIN APPLICATIONS DIRECTORY. IF
YOU CAN’T FIND IT, GO TO :

- MacintoshHD/Users/*YOUR NAME*/Applications/ Right click on The Sims 4.app and choose «

Show Package Contents » / Contents/Data/Shared/Worlds/Areas
- MacintoshHD/Users/*YOUR NAME*/Applications/ Right click on The Sims 4.app and choose «
Show Package Contents » / Contents/Res

Once installed, make sure you activated your Mods and Script Mods in the options of your game.

You can uninstall the Mod by deleting the files in your Mods Folder and right+click in origin to
“Repair Game”

You are now good to go, LET’S CREATE YOUR WORLD !

Requirements
This Mod is BASE GAME COMPATIBLE !

But the more packs you have, the better the experience will be and the more items you
will get. Some open lots/interactive venues might not be available for you if you don’t
own the right packs. For instance : The university Campus Interactive venue requires The
Sims 4 Discover University, or the Campsite requires Outdoor Retreat.

How do I move or rotate objects in the world?

For precision placements, you can use the T.O.O.L. Mod created by TwistedMexi. Available on
