Features
• Slightly soluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents
• Latent solvent for coatings to adjust cure rate
• Latent solvent for coatings to reduce viscosity and to improve flow and leveling
• Coupling solvent for waterborne coatings
Non – HAP (Hazard Air Pollutant) solvent

Applications
• Solvent for dyes and stains
• Solvent for oils, ester gums, natural resins, phenolics, waxes
• Solvent for nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose lacquers
• Froth flotation for mining
• Extraction solvents for essential oils for flavors / fragrances
• Hydraulic fluid diluent
• Process solvent for soaps
• Chemical intermediate for higher alcohols, surfactants.
