GOD’S COMMAND THROUGH DREAMS
A prayer brigade during the pandemic

A pandemic has entered our
zones without notice. It was a tough
time. It was a time of isolation,
quarantines, and unexpected events.
We tend to ask some questions like,
“What does the Lord want to say to
us?” “Am I praying enough?” or
“Why these kinds of things
happened?” and it really tests our
faith.

challenging to
cope with the
changes and adjustments in this
situation. We were used to seeing our
students and teachers in a face to face
classes. The tables turned when
Covid19 came in our midst.
The Lord is merciful. The Lord is
gracious. He gave us wisdom and
knowledge to live and overcome. Our
chairman, the President of the school,
Dr. Elizabeth Z. Yoo, shared a dream
with us in one of our online meetings
with her. The dream was about a
situation with a student and a parent.
They were asked to pray for the
school. When she shared it with us,
she encourages us to pray for one
another. With that idea, a prayer
brigade was set to date.
LIIFI SCHOOL BOARD
Last February 29, 2021, the
faculty and staff, together with the
parents, had a day of prayer.
Following the health protocols, 3 to 5
persons were able to pray together.
Social distancing and wearing of
facemask and face shield were LORD IMMANUEL

followed. Some of the parents were

Honestly, it
takes guts to
pray. But, I

great weapon against sorrow and
comfort for those who are in need.

 We will continue to pray. Every
schedule of distribution of modules
or even in our quiet time, we will
pray for each other. I am thankful to
our chairman who encouraged us to
pray and bring our burdens to God.
For our Lord Jesus Christ reminded
us in Matthew 11:28-30,
“Come to me, all you who are
weary and burdened, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you and
learn from me, for I am gentle and
humble in heart, and you will find
rest for your souls. For my yoke is
easy and my burden is light.”
The Lord is simply telling us to
draw near to Him. For His yoke is
easy and His burden is light. God
bless us.

formatting of selected text in the
document text by choosing a look for the
selected text from the Quick Styles
gallery on the Home tab. You can also
format text directly by using the other
controls on the Home tab. Most controls
offer a choice of using the look from the
current theme or using a format that you
specify directly.
To change the overall look of your
document, choose new Theme elements
on the Page Layout tab. To change the
looks available in the Quick Style
gallery, use the Change Current Quick
Style Set command. Both the Themes
gallery and the Quick Styles gallery
provide reset commands so that you can
always restore the look of your
document to the original contained in
your current template.
