YOUR LIFE IS GONE IN AN INHALATION.

Smoking is an intoxication that can lead to an addictive disease, produced by an

essential component in cigarettes and that is nicotine. However, the smoke inhaled in each
cigarette contains 4,000 harmful elements, including a mixture of tar, ammonia,
benzopyrene, hydrogen cyanide and carbon dioxide.

These agents are harmful to health and can cause various diseases in our body:
respiratory, circulatory, digestive and skin problems. Smoking is recognized as a public
health disease, as it is one of the most preventable causes of death worldwide. The annual
death toll is 8,000,000 people. Among smokers, 70% of deaths are due to smoking: the
more cigarettes smoked per day, the more smoke inhaled, the younger you start smoking
and the more years you sustain the habit.

Most smokers start this habit for social reasons of acceptance and to feel the false
sensation of pleasure, relaxation and concentration. The problem is that these false beliefs
create the addiction.

Acquiring the habit of smoking causes numerous serious and minor illnesses.
Nowadays, all smokers suffer from some kind of affection produced by smoking, ranging
from oral problems to cancer, according to the WHO (World Health Organization) smoking
causes more than 25 diseases: bronchitis, asthma, cancer of the larynx, pharynx and lung,
hypertension, ulcers, cancer of the mouth and esophagus, sexual impotence and premature
aging.

The will of the people is the best treatment, people have to be aware and feel capable,
some medical and natural treatments can help but without the will it will not be possible to
stop this public health problem.

With this small piece of writing, the great consequences of smoking are made evident.
Quit smoking if you do it and if not, help others to quit, because the damage it causes is not
only in the smokers themselves but also with those who live with them.
