Writing is a crucial skill that all successful students must have ("College Success," 2010).

On the other hand,

College-level writing is a type of writing that is more formal with stricter requirements like a specific font
type, font size, and a word count for your assignment. There are many strategies when it comes to writing
college essays in such a way that your work shows that you have understood the assignment and even the
readings given. To mention a few;

1. Share a draft of your work with your classmates so you can get a good amount of ideas before sitting
down to write your final draft ("College Success," 2010).
2. Read your draft out loud, as when you hear your own words, your errors reveal themselves more
clearly ("College Success," 2010).
3. Start your writing process early, giving you enough time to change your assignment well before the
due date.

Out of the above three, the one that I have been using is the third one. I find that when you are given a
writing assignment, you should start as immediately after you gather notes about the assigned topic. So, how
exactly do I implement this?

If the University of the People week starts on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday, I try to finish going
through the reading for that unit on Thursday and Friday and start drafting as early as Saturday. By Sunday,
I have finished the paper, but I do no submit it that Sunday itself; I will leave it till Tuesday morning as this
gives me an entire day to fully take in what I have written, make any last-minute changes, and just in case, I
want to redo it fully.

This strategy gives me enough time to think everything over in a "no stress zone" that will not affect my
paper's content and fulfil the paper's requirements.

The above is my strategy for college-level writing, I hope this can be used by you all as well and if you need
any help, I will be sure to offer my assistance.
