127A Russell Senate Office Building
Washington DC 20510

Dear Dr. Ted Cruz,

My name is Lautaro Caba Foz, and I am the owner of No Guns Foundation in Texas. I am writing this letter with the
aim of demonstrating that your denial on the amendment that authorizes the attorney general to ban the transfer
of a firearm to a known or suspected terrorist is unfavorable and dangerous for society. My objective is based on
raising awareness about the problems that can be generated by harmful and inappropriate handling of weapons.
My opinion about weapons is that they are only for self-defense and not to go out with any outside the house.
Although it is dangerous on the streets due to some thief or illegal weapons carrier, this is the way to reduce
homicides.

First of all, I really don’t agree on your voting record. In my opinion the safety of citizens must be protected. For
this, it must be taken into account that no danger or vulnerability in society should exist. And the idea of providing
weapons to suspected terrorists should be discarded immediately. You voted against in an amendment that
prohibits the transfer of firearms to suspected terrorists, and I really want to understand why. By denying this
argument, you would be putting the safety of citizens at risk.

To avoid all of these problems, we can discuss about this amendment and come to a good conclusion. I’m not
trying to change your mind, but to see this problem from another perspective. We could work together on this
case if you'd like. Thank you very much for receiving and reading this letter and I hope the best for you. If you need
to contact me, here is my email: lautarocabafoz@gmail.com.

Kind regards,

Lautaro Caba Foz
