The following are the activities and engagements of the National Federation of Junior Philippine
Institute of Accountants – Western Mindanao Council, Regional IX for the month of October:

 Conducted a meeting with the Regional Executive Officers and Regional Adviser Mr.
Romel W. Delosa, CPA last October 02, 2021.
 Conducted a meeting with the Regional Executive Officers and Local Chapter Officers
regarding the upcoming 2nd Virtual JPIA Festival last October 08, 2021.
 Conducted a dry run last October 14, 2021 with Regional Executive Officers and Local
Chapter participants for the Regional Academic and Non-Academic League of 2 nd Virtual
JPIA Festival.
 Conducted the 2nd Virtual JPIA Festival with the theme “ARCADE: Journeying
into the Unknown, Exploring Endless Possibilities” held last October 16-24, 2021
with our supportive sponsors SGV & Co. and Real Excellence Online. Together with
our guest speakers of the event, Mr. Janven A. Granfon CPA, MBA, CTT and Ms.
Jerry Mae Manzano.
 Conducted a meeting with the Regional Executive Officers last October 30, 2021.
 Launched the “DISCORD-NECTION” for all Region 9 JPIANs to watch movies, play
and study last October 30, 2021.
 Launched the “Freedom Wall” for all the R9 JPIANs to participate in posting their
messages of creepy and ghosts stories last October 31, 2021.
 Participated in the 2nd Samuel Misa Cup held last October 30-31 2021 with the theme,
“LAHARI: The Seeds of Humble Beginnings.” Region 9 bagged the following
awards: Non Academics League 2ND PLACE: BLIND ITEM, and Academics League 4TH
PLACER WHIZBEE 1 – Tristan Bazan and 3RD PLACER WHIZBEE 2 – Yuri Alexsie
Torecampo.
