SUMMARY OF THE PROGRAMME “BABBAN ZAURE”

The programme “BABBAN ZAURE” is a newly brainstormed twenty five

to thirty minutes international programme that has never been produced or
broadcast by any Hausa-based radio or TV station across the length and breadth of
Africa and the world. It’s primarily designed to provide the audience with crucial
information they want to know about all the happenings around the world
(especially the areas of coverage) and to increase AREWA 24 sources of income
and help maintain its position as the leading Hausa-based station. Babban Zaure is
targeted at people aged eighteen and above and it is a challenging programme that
brings the analysis of trending issues with proper consultations based on facts in
every human endeavor (Science, Agriculture, Politics, Education, Entertainment,
Sport, Health, and Economy among others). To achieve this, the programme
focuses only huge celebrities (actors, musicians, footballers, professors, scholars,
human activist and other top level personnel etc.) that are worldwide following,
government officials, religious leaders and all topical issues among others.
Moreover, the programme could be recorded inside or outside the studio for
example in an office or everywhere.

But the question that comes to mind here is why does the programme focus
on only popular individuals? This is because all those well-known faces are always
admired by other people and they are usually enthusiastic to hear from them all the
time. Therefore, this will give AREWA 24 another splendid opportunity to have
grabbed and held viewers’ attention whenever the programme is on air and
international marketers will rush to purchase airtimes for their products to be
advertised.
For example, the programme may look at the situation of Nigerian students or
educational system thereby having the minister of education Adamu Adamu on the
programme in order to break it down or discuss the current situation for the
audience.
