1. If you were in Kristen's position, would you have chosen to be

tested?

If I were in Kristen's position, I would choose to make myself

the genetic test in the same way since I think it is necessary
today to discard diseases in a reliable way and thus take care of
myself by avoiding eating or doing anything that would hurt me,
in addition to being a genetic issue, the treatment is more
specific to solve. Genetic testing has greatly revolutionized
medicine.

2. Do you think genetic testing has more potential benefits than

possible problems?

Yes, I believe that genetic testing has a positive impact on the modern
medical environment because it helps to prevent diseases rather than
just treat them which can sometimes could be too late. On the other
hand, being a more specific treatment for people, it helps to carry out
a more appropriate treatment plan, generating a better lifestyle for
people.

3. If you had a genetic test and it indicated you were at risk for a
certain disease, who would you share the information with?
Would you tell your children, brothers and sisters, cousins? How
would you make this decision?

If I am at risk or if I contract a certain disease, I would try to take it

calmly. Knowing that it is a risk factor, I would avoid thinking about
this disease, so I would only try to tell my situation to the closest
people in my life, which I consider to be my parents and brother. On
the other hand, I would try to improve in other aspects of my life to
feel grateful for everything that I have been able to be.
