CONSULTANCY SERVICES

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT :

TCS is the second largest Indian company by market capitalisation and is among the
most valuable IT services brands worldwide.
TCS offers a consulting-led, cognitive-powered, integrated portfolio of business,
technology, and engineering services and solutions. This is delivered through its
unique Location Independent Agile™ delivery model, recognized as a benchmark of
excellence in software development.
The basic analysis is the study of economic, industrial and corporate conditions to
determine the value of a company's shares. Basic analysis typically focuses on key
statistics from a company's annual financial statements to determine whether the share
price is properly valued. After determining the state and outlook of the economy,
industry and business, the base analyst determines whether the company's shares are
overvalued, undervalued or properly valued. The basic analysis covers various
financial and non-financial aspects such as the assessment of the economic and
industrial scenario, corporate governance and the financial situation of the company
and soon.
The basic analysis is the method of evaluating actions, which uses microeconomics and
financial data to analyse the movements of actions. The result of the basic analysis is to
find an intrinsic value for a stock for better wealth creation. For a fundamental
investor, the market price of a stock tends to return to its intrinsic value.
 Fundamental analysis helps in predicting the long-term trends in the market. It is
generally used for long-term investments as it enables you to understand the price that
the stock should reach. It also allows you to find good companies for investment, such
as those with strong growth potential.
The study of SWOT and PESTLE helped us to understand the key factors that
influence the credit worthiness of the organisation both internally and externally. Many
of these aspects includes beneficial reasons for the organisation, including qualified
consultants and a range of resources and multinational partnerships, as well as several
negative factors, such as legal conflicts, furthermore, these things formed the
fundamental problems for the business that may have direct implications for the
successful results of the firm, like increasing customer frustration in the event of
threats of strike.

Every investor is advised to have enough knowledge about stock market before making
any investment decision, hence it is important to do analysis of capital market by using
either Fundamental Analysis or Technical Analysis. This Research aims to study on
Fundamental Analysis of Tata Consultancy Services.
 

  OBJECTIVES TO STUDY:
o To study the growth and performance of TCS Stock.
o To analyse the Intrinsic value and forecast the future value through
fundamental analysis.
o To make a projection on its business performance.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM :

The study will help to know what strategies the investor can adopt while trading in
equity market with the help of fundamental analysis. Fundamental Analysis is the
upcoming tool and helps the investor to know how the company is fundamentally
strong and who want to invest in a systematic manner in the competitive world, the
study reveals the importance for the investment decision which acts as guidance and
helps them in decision making and predicts the figure price of the scrip The study will

RESEARCH METHODOLY:

In this paper mainly secondary data is used. Secondary data is the analysis of data that
was collected by someone else. As a researcher I have scanned a lot of sources to get
access to secondary data of the company.

Data is collected from sources such as:

 Internet
 Website of TCS
 Company balance sheets, annual reports, press release etc.
-Analysis of data is done with help of Fundamental tools.
