1. Write a sentence with the adverbs of place, manner,


time in correct order.
2. Combine the given sentences into a complex sentence
containing an adverb clause of concession:
The farmer worked hard. The yield was not good.
3. Mention the important meals of the day.
4. When the present perfect tense is used with ‘Just’,
what does it show?
5. What is meant by a reference in a letter?
6. Which are the two parts of a sentence?
7. Give some of the verbs that require reflexive
pronouns.
8. Write a note on the auxiliary verbs which can act as
full verb as well as auxiliary verbs. Substantiate it
with suitable examples.
