Does A Standard Purge Process Exist For MTL_TXN_REQUEST_LINES And Other Move Order

This note is valid for 11i and R12 Release. The concurrent program INVMOPG exists in Rel 12 also.

GOAL

Tables MTL_TXN_REQUEST_LINES and MTL_TXN_REQUEST_HEADERS need to be purged.

Is there a standard purge program exists which purges data from these tables?

SOLUTION

This feature is available beginning in INV.I / 11.5.9. From INV.I, there is a concurrent program Move Order Purge
(INVMOPG) which purges the closed move orders.

For versions prior to 11.5.9, you can run the script purge_mo_new.sql. This script will clean up the records where the
move order is closed.
