Marks: 100 The Entrance Test for B.A (Hons.) in Korean Language will comprise of two parts: Part-A & Part-B. 1. Part-A will consist of 40 objective type multiple choice questions related to General Knowledge, Current Affairs. The country profile or South Korean History, Science & Social Science of one mark cach. There will be negative marking in Part-A with a weightage of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Time duration will be 30 minutes. 2. Part-B will consist of subjective type descriptive questions with a weightage of 60 marks consisting of six questions of ten marks each, pertaining to; comprehension of unseen passage in English, basic to Intermediate level English grammar (preposition, synonyms, antonyms, tenses, direct/indirect, adverb, conjuction), essay on renowned Literary/Political personalities of Turkey or India, Indo-South Korea relations, relevance and importance of learning Korean language. Time duration will be 60 minutes. Note: Admission to the B.A (Hons.) in Korean Language shall be done on thebasis of merit determined by the result of Entrance Test Examination.
