Reflections to the topic

Swimming is an ancient aquatic sport. Swimming has then been very popular since its origin.

Swimming had its origins in Egypt as a leisure sport around 2500 BCE. Swimming was first

documented during the time of ancient civilizations and has continued to evolve over time to become

one of the most competitive and universal sports in the world. The breaststroke was the earliest

recorded stroke and since it was developed so early in time there in not one single inventor. It is very

beneficial to the health of your not only your body but also your mind. Swimming is a way to get away

from the heat of those humid summer days, while still being active and enjoying your friends/family

and the sun. Going out with the family to the pool is a great bonding experience, and is a great way to

fight obesity in children. Learning how to swim is important in life since many people have been

recorded to have drowned because they don’t know how to swim. Many water tragedies that took the

lives of people including children had enlightened the public of the importance of learning how to

swim not only for recreational purposes but also for emergency purposes.
