RE: LAYING THE FOUNDATION TO GUARANTEE SUSTAINABLE REVENUE FOR SOCIO-
ECONOMIC HAND-OVER-FIST IN KADUNA STATE, VIZ INFORMAL SECTOR REFORM,
SOVEREIGN WEALTH FUND AND YOUTH EMANCIPATION TRUST FUND
Please refer to our previous letter vide ref AG-KDS/001/TJM/0121.
We write to seek your response to the proposal and would like to know how your Ministry (Kaduna State
Ministry of Finance) would like to proceed, as we are yet to receive any response from your office.
We understand and appreciate the emerging socio-economic realities, which demands the implementation
of drastic fiscal policies to both boost State governments’ revenue, reduce recurrent expenditure and the
adoption of a more sustainable model for increasing the States’ GDP; to boost resident’s and citizen’s
productivity and per capita income (PCI). Our policies propose such fiscal policies!
We believe it is imperative to commence its implementation, if you seriously desire to lift majority of the
financially vulnerable Kaduna residents’ from poverty before the expiration of this administration, and
provide them with financial savings cum buffers to outwit capricious times such as what the pandemic
created.
Honorable Commissioner, we look forward to your swift and actionable response.
