Essay. Read and analyze each question. Answer each item briefly but concisely.

1. What were Rizal’s reason for travelling to different places like Europe, Asia,
and America?
 Rizal’s primary goal in leaving the country is to pursuit knowledge especially
on opthalmology, adventure, and romance. Rizal wanted to observe the lives,
cultures, laws, and government of different countries in preparation for liberating
the Philippines from Spains tyranniced rule.

2. Cite some of the benefits that Rizal attained from travelling around the
world.
 The travel and adventure of Jose Rizal are an important surface of his
education and mission for the Philippines. Because of his broad knowledge of
different culture he learned from his journey it becomes his inspiration for
reform.

3. Do you think Rizal successfully attained his significant mission from his
travel?
 Yes, he fulfilled his primary mission to operate his mother’s eyes. Not long
after his execution in 1896 liberation from the Spaniards happen in 1898, and
eventually from all colonizers in 1945. Rizal did not live to see the fruits of his
secret mission, but the ideas he embodied were central to the revolution that led
to the country’s independence.
