Abnormal Loss suffered while receiving HSD from MT Harsha Prem at BPCL Installation on 08/09-08.

BPCL installation suffered an abnormal loss of about 300 KL HSD after discharging about 12666 KL of
HSD from MT Harsh Prem ex RIL, Sikka and KRL

On further enquiry, it was revealed that, staff while sampling did not get product and found air
coming out instead and P/L was vibrating for about 5-7 minutes after pumping commenced. Similarly,
the staff monitoring Tank receipt found huge fluctuation in Product dip (local display as well as dip
hatch display) for about 10 minutes after Tanker discharge commenced.

HPC Installation next to BPC got a HSD parcel on 06-07/08/11 .This was the previous receipt through
the pipe line

IOC also stated that they suffered 250 KL HSD loss during 4/5 .08.11.
