2nd mode of the Minor Major scale


The second mode of the major scale goes by the names
“Susb9” or “Dorian b2” as in, a suspended chord with a
flat 9th. This mode is used in modern jazz music and is a
good one to know if you’re a jazz musician.

The chord
A Susb9 chord is characterized by a dark and

V chord. Just as you can have dominant chords
