Electric circuits consisting of :

- Insulating base (e.g. of plastics)
- Conductor elements, contacts or other passive components (e.g. inductances,
resistors, capacitors) obtained by
Any printing process (e.g. conventional printing or embossing, plating-up, etching)
The « film circuit » technique (e.g., deposition of metallic film on a glass substrate,
screen-printing on ceramic plates)

Exclusion :

Printed circuits containing :

- Printed active components (e.g. semiconductor devices)
- Non-printed components (other than connecting elements)
