Identity theft

Identity theft happens when a person or a criminal organization obtains some

personal information to assume that individual's identity and make transactions or
purchases.
There are some types of identity theft such as: criminal identity theft and financial
identity theft. The criminal one happens when someone that committed a crime
presents himself as another person, by using that person's data.
Another type of crime is financial identity theft, which is the most common.
Typically involves access to your financial cards or account information through theft,
by hacking your online account, for example.
One of the best ways to prevent it is to continually check your personal data.
