The robotic field is related with machine but when it combined with AI or Artificial Intelligence than it is like
the robots gets a brain and it can decide what to do without human input or direction. Artificial Intelligence
have a main role in robotics now a days because the world gets better and better and only robotics is not
enough for a robotic solution. When it about intelligence then AI is the main concern of a robotic project.
Robotic and Artificial Intelligence interconnect with sensors, computer, mechanical motors etc. It can use
physical and also virtual data to make-a decision also can use this data to solve a problem that is not directly
related with the data. Machine learning is also related with AI, it can take AI and robotic to the next level.
Where the robot can learn and make-a decision by own and make a best solution of the problem.

Introduction
Artificial Intelligence or AI is a computer programs and technology for making machines
and robots. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in robots is becoming increasingly popular,
particularly in recent years. By using artificial intelligence in robotics, a robot can think and
do thinking like a human. When confronted with a problem, an artificially intelligent robot
can think and attempt to solve it without the assistance of a human. Nowadays, artificial
intelligence is primarily utilized to replace humans in hazardous work environments.
Artificial intelligence is programmed to do activities such as task control, planning, and
execution. Artificial Intelligence is increasingly being used in economics, engineering,
construction, and military applications, as well as home accessories, gaming, and software
applications.
A computer system, program, or machine which is performing its task with its intelligence
is called artificial intelligence or AI. When this technology use in robotics the robot can do a
task or that activity that requires intelligence. With AI technology machines or robots can
decide on their own when they process any task. (thefreedictionary, 2016)

Research Methodology
Research Objective
There are many goals and objective of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics. The main
goal of our research is how AI and robotics can use in the field of commercial industries
and also the risk related work where human life is in danger. There are many country in
the world where labor costs is very high, If we can add Artificial Intelligence and Robotics
together to work, The work will be easy and very efficiency and cost will be low. And the
country labor cost will also reduce and product cost will also reduce. Other important
objective of our research is to reduce human activity where the work is to dangerous for
human life like nuclear plant, hazard lab work etc. We are not only add robotics we will
also add AI so that it can take decision like human and can work in dangerous position.
There are also other objective and goal of our research like efficient work, reducing
product cost by using robot, using sensor in new application, AI in Education, using AI
robot in Agriculture etc.

Research Questions
The main purpose of AI research is developing human life and work for the betterment of
society. Some question regarding this are given below:
1.What is Artificial intelligence? And how it’s work?
2.How could people and our society get benefited by using AI (Artificial intelligence)
technology?
3.What is the future of artificial intelligence and robotics?

Article Selection
This section explains how the keywords were selected to identify the most relevant
publications from the digital libraries. That’s why a keyword string must be created. We
need to search the words which relates to our topic. Then we must utilize these keywords
to look for articles in digital libraries. We need to search the papers manually if they are not
found by the keyword string. After getting all the relevant papers the final set of article will
be ready.

Keywords and Search String

The topic is primer on artificial intelligence in robotics. So, we found out the words which
are same to the topic’s words and created keyword string. For example-
1.primer/artificial intelligence/robotics.
2.Machine/robot/intelligence.
3.Society/benefited/AI technology.

Digital Libraries to Search

To find out papers we have searched the keywords string in the digital libraries such as
ACM, IEEE, Google Scholar and ScienceDirect.
Keyword search and Manual Selection
To get our desired paper we had search numerous keywords such as - primer, artificial
intelligence, robotics, machine, robot, intelligence, society, benefited, AI technology etc.
Besides, we had also referred papers also in the reference section.

Final set of Articles

After creating the keyword string , we searched them through the digital libraries and got
various papers related to our topic. And then they are listed in the reference section.

RQ1
1.What is Artificial intelligence? And how it’s work?
Artificial intelligence is a very important part of computer science where machines are
taught to think and take a decision like human being. AI works by merging vast numbers of
data with fast, repetitive mechanism and clever algorithms, from patterns or features in the
data allowing the software to read automatically.

RQ2
2.How could people and our society get benefited by using AI(Artificial intelligence)
technology?
Machines don’t get tired that means machines don’t need break and refreshment like
human. It can work continuously for human being. Smartphone, GPS etc are used billions of
people in a day, all are invented from AI technology. AI technology has brought prosperity
to the society and at present AI technology has enriched the economy. This field of science
has emerged as a blessing for the people of the society.

RQ3
3.What is the future of artificial intelligence and robotics?
AI has a bright future in the future. Our surroundings are full of technology produced by
artificial intelligence. Artificially intelligence Robots are one of the great invention of AI
technology. People can use those robots at many sectors. Like as personal assistant,
workers for the industry, restaurant waiter etc. In future AI technology will be updated day
by day, as a result ours life will get more easier and comfortable than present time.

Future direction
Robots and Artificial Intelligence present new prospects for the industry, promising to
make our future more automated and efficient. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence continue
to surprise us; perhaps no sector will be left undone by this technology. For example, the
robotics market is growing faster than many of us would have expected. Robotics and
Artificial Intelligence are strong markets, and combining these technologies has the
potential to improve human lives.

Validity Threat
In this modern world robotic is play very important role. Industry and big factory are using
robot for better production and efficiency. AI take robotics to next level where robot do not
have to wait for human input. They can work and learn and then they can take decision by
own. So now its look normal but in near future AI and robot is can be very dangerous for
human. Like people will lose their job because of work automation by robot. AI robot can
be very powerful that they can think and make any decision that could be very risky for
human. Also there can be high chance AI robot could fail to work as human input and could
destroy the work flow, which will cost very big lose for any industry or company. The use
of AI and robotics should be control in future otherwise it could be very dangerous for
human.

Conclusion
Now a days there has been a colossal spread of artificial intelligence and robotics. In this
reason many multinational companies and famous business institutions have shown it to
everyone through newspapers and magazines how artificial intelligence and robotics will
change the world. International business institutions have shown their interest about
AI(Artificial Intelligence) and they have invested their money for the development of AI
research. What kind of research is currently going on with artificial intelligence and
robotics and how the people of our society will be benefited if those research will be
successful in the future. All of this information have described properly to promote through
newspapers and magazines. Artificial intelligence made our life easy and comfortable. The
business motility increased through the development of AI. It also improved our economy
system and in future it will be increasing linearly, if we continue our researches on AI.
Though AI field filled with opportunity. But it has advantages and disadvantages. For the
welfare of the society, we have to apply the knowledge in this field with great thought and
consideration. If we use this technology with proper way it will work as a blessings for the
both (people and society). On the other hand any kind of wrong decision can become a
nightmare for the society. Artificial intelligence is a fertile field. We have just begun to walk
in this field. We must continue to move in this direction to enrich and preserve human life
in the future.
