INSTALLATION:

If you are reading this text it's because you have already executed the installer
and the scenery is properly installed on your
PREPAR3D\TROPICALSIM\MDPC2016 folder.

PREPAR3D V2 NATIVE CUSTOM GROUND

One of Prepar3d v2/v3's new feature is the ability to use custom ground in native
P3D v2/v3 SDK code, which in turn is not only better looking due to the effects
that comes along with it, but also much more efficient in terms of performance. If
you do not like the look of this kind of native ground, you can revert back to the
old style ground we previously used by removing the
mdpc2016_solowizP3D.BGL file from the scenery folder, and renaming
mdpc2016_solowizP3Dscasm.off to mdpc2016_solowizP3Dscasm.bgl, making
the file active.
ADDING THE SCENERY TO THE LIBRARY

Although the scenery files are already in Prepar3d v2/v3, it's necessary to tell the
simulator that a new scenery was installed.

1: Open Prepar3d v2/v3

2: Load up any flight scenario.

2: Click on "WORLD"

3: Click on "SCENERY LIBRARY"

4: Click on "Add Area" followed by "Browse"

5: The explorer window will open to locate the folder of the new
scenery. It'll open in Prepar3d v2/v3 root folder. Select
"TropicalSim" and followed by "MDPC2016". Click "OK".

6: Prepar3d v2/v3 will compile the new database. When done,

your Prepar3d v2/v3 is ready to use scenery without the need to
restart the simulator.
