Methodology

TYPE OF RESEARCH

The type of research that the researcher will be use in this study is a qualitative
research. Qualitative research aims to gather deeper understanding about certain
behavior and seek for some reason why such behavior exists. This discipline answers
why and how of decision making. This research will also examine such researches and
will present all the research study related on the coping strategies of children with
cerebral palsy (CP) in regular classroom set up. Along with the questionnaires that will
be given to the respondents will be conducted to support this study.

RESEARCH DESIGN

Among different kinds of research designs, the researcher will be using the survey
methods where they will be collecting data and facts about some certain situation or
issue from the target population (regular teachers who handles children with cerebral
palsy) existing in surroundings having relevance to the nature of study. Through survey,
we will able to study the relationships and characteristics of regular teachers and other
factors affecting the coping styles of children with CP.

RESPONDENTS

The respondents from this research will all be coming from any schools in Batangas
who were classified as a teacher who already handled children with cerebral palsy. The
researcher choose Batangas because they believe that it would help the locality
improve and give more information on how to handle students with CP in a regular
classroom set up where the student will feel the sense of acceptance and
belongingness not only in school and family but also in the society where they belong.

QUESTIONNAIRE

The questionnaires that will be using require information related to the coping strategies
of children with CP in regular classroom set up. It also gives information about the
possible description that the respondent will look at based on their experiences and how
those characteristics will become a tool to make a propose plan in making strategic
lessons for the children.
