DEFINITION AND DIFFERENCIATE OF PULMONARY CIRCULATION

AND SYSTEMIC CIRCULATION

DEFINITION :
- PULMONARY CIRCULATION
Deoxygenated blood travels from the heart to the lungs, where it
exhales CO2 and is resupplied with oxygen before returning to the
heart.
The pulmonary circulation is a closed circuit of blood arteries that
connects the heart and the lungs, as opposed to the systemic
circulation, which connects the heart to all other bodily tissues. ...
The blood receives oxygen from the air breathed into the air sacs
and releases carbon dioxide in the capillaries

- SYTEMIC CIRCULATION
Pathway for oxygenated blood to travel from the heart to the body's
cells, supplying oxygen and nutrients. and then it's back to the
heart.
The systemic circulation ensures that all body tissues receive
adequate blood supply. It transports oxygen and nutrients to the
cells while also collecting carbon dioxide and trash. The left
ventricle pumps oxygenated blood from the arteries to the
capillaries in the body's tissues, which is known as systemic
circulation.
DIFFERENCIATE:
The pulmonary circulation transports deoxygenated blood from the
heart to the lungs and oxygenated blood from the lungs back to the
heart. The heart pumps oxygenated blood to the body and returns
deoxygenated blood to the heart through systemic circulation.
