MANIFESTATION

COMES NOW, the undersigned Trial Prosecutor, unto this Honorable


Court, most respectfully states that:

1. A Motion to Enter into Plea Bargaining was filed by accused thru the Public
Attorney’s Office;

2. Herein accused stands with consolidated charges for violation of Section


261 (q) of BP 881 (The Omnibus Election Code) as amended by R.A. 7166
in relation to COMELEC Resolution No. 10728 and Violation of Sec. 28 (a)
in relation to Sec. 28 (e)(1), RA 10591; while in his motion, the accused
proposes to plead guilty to a lesser offense of violation of Section 261(q) of
BP 881 only whereby absorbing the other charge herein;

3. The prosecution notes that if herein motion of the accused would be


granted, it will benefit not only the accused but also the prosecution since it
will secure a conviction although to a lower offense and afford more time to
the other cases demanding equal if not greater attention;

4. Given the above consideration, the prosecution is hereby giving its


CONSENT to the proposal to plea bargain
