Objective
Activated EDR helps reduce engineering time spent in
designing Heat Exchangers by integrating the work flow
between a Process Engineer, Heat Exchanger Thermal
Specialist and the Mechanical Designer.
Objective of this demonstration is to show how to

 Generate a preliminary rigorous design for a Heat Exchanger

from within a simulator

 Transfer the design to an Aspen EDR file so that a Thermal

Specialist can then further refine the design

 Transfer the design to Aspen Shell & Tube Mechanical for

finishing the mechanical design.
