The malware 'Android.banker.

A9480' is specially designed to steal the user's login

credentials from their banking apps. This is being distributed through fake Flash
Player applications on third-party stores (App stores other than Google Play Store)
for Android users. Once the fake Flash Player is installed, the malware asks the
user to grant access to administrative rights. If the user denies the request, it
will keep popping up to get admin privileges of the device. Once the access is
given, the malware app hides its icon and starts carrying out malicious activities
in the background, like accessing confidential information such as SMSes, OTPs and
passwords.

Be assured, all our systems at Kotak are under continuous surveillance and no
malware or unusual activity has been detected. All our systems continue to function
