Covid19 Biosafety Protocols

Respecting the state of health emergency and adhering to the guidelines for the
prevention and control of COVID-19 of the Government of Peru, given through
MINISTERIAL RESOLUTION No. 0641-2020-MTC / 01, of the Ministry of Transport and
Communications, the following is provided:

The transport units have the following:


• Infrared thermometer to measure the temperature before and after each tour.
• 70% ethyl alcohol or 60% to 70% gel alcohol for hand disinfection during the tour.
• Information notices on COVID 19 measures.
• Footbath for disinfecting passenger footwear.
• The maximum capacity to use of the buses is 50%.

Drivers and Guides have the following:

Spanish means Labyrinth (for its underground galleries) is located 6km from the city of Cusco.
3. Pucapucara, which means Red Fortress, is a military and administrative construction, located in a
strategic location that has platforms and steps.
4. Tambomachay, built with the purpose of worshiping water, this construction has aqueducts, canals

ITINERARY

PISAQ:
The first point of visit in the sacred valley of the Incas, here we can appreciate the traditional artisan market of the
village located in the same square of Pisaq, then we will visit the archaeological center that is located at the top of
the mountain, in which the great architecture of the place. Continuing the tour, we will stop in the village of
Urubamba to be able to have lunch.
OLLANTAYTAMBO
Located 90 km from the city of Cusco, Ollantaytambo is one of the Incas cities that is still inhabited by local
inhabitants in which highlight its water channels that are still used, in the archaeological center we can observe the
majestic construction composed of platforms and terraces.
CHINCHERO
Back in Cusco, we can see the colonial church of Chinchero which stands on an old Inca palace, built under the

ITINERARY
CUSCO-AGUAS CALIENTES-MACHU PICCHU-CUSCO

Early in the morning, we will transfer you from the hotel to the train station in Cusco or Poroy for the trip to Aguas
Calientes which can be in bimodal service (bus to Ollantaytambo and train to Machu Picchu) or only by train from
Poroy station 30 minutes from Cusco. Arriving at Aguas Calientes station your guide will pick them up and
immediately board a bus from Machu Picchu village to Machu Picchu the Inca Citadel.

Once in Machu Picchu, you will then have a guided tour in one of the new 7 wonders of the world with a bilingual
professional guide lasting approximately 02:30 hours. After the tour you will take the descent bus to the town of
Aguas Calientes and after lunch return to the train station in Aguas Calientes, the train departure is between 4 pm
-6 pm, you will return to Cusco by the same route arriving at 8-10 pm approximately. Upon arrival at the station we
will pick you up to take you back to your hotel.

HORSEBACK RIDING MISTIC TOUR "FULL SERVICE"

VINICUNCA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN


ITINERARY
CUSCO-PITUMARCA-QUESOYUNI-CUSCO

Very early at 04.40 am, we will pass through your hotel and we will go by tourist transport through the southern
valley passing colonial-era towns and the great ranchers bound for the city of Cheqacupe after half an hour we will
arrive at Pitumarca where we already announce that we are already closer to the colorful mountain known as the
"Vinincunca" From here the road is dirt to the city of Hanchipata, where we have breakfast, the weather from this
point is a bit cold. We will continue with the transport to the city of Quesoyuni checkpoint of the colorful hill from
here we will start the hike to the top of the mountain to a height of 5200 meters.

8:30 a.m. We will all prepare with our guide and harriers, who will accompany us to the top of Vinicunca or hill of
colors, the first part is to walk on a flat pasture where they graze thousands of alpacas, llamas. We also find
shepherds and people who still wear their native costumes.
9:00 a.m. You'll climb uphill, from where you can see the sacred mountains of the Ausangate and the mountains of
the Vilcanota rank.
10:00 a.m. It is the moment when you will reach the mythical foothills of the mountain color, with some effort, you
start to climb to the top (5,200 meters), from where you have to appreciate the majesty of the colorful mountains,

Pick up from Cusco at 4:40am of your accommodation and then head by tourist bus to Mollepata where we will
have our breakfast in a small restaurant, after our breakfast we will continue 1 hour and 30 minutes by car until we
reach Soraypampa where we start with our hike to the Humantay lagoon for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Arriving at the Humantay Lagoon we have an estimated 45 minutes visit time to take photos and appreciate the
wonderful landscape of the snow next to the beautiful lagoon.

Then we will undertake our return walk to the place of Soraypampa to take our return bus to Mollepata where we
will have our rich lunch, continuing our journey to the Limatambo and finally Cusco at 5:30 pm approximately.

SOUTH VALLEY

The Southern Valley is one of the routes little known to tourists. This route is a great alternative to learn more about
ancient Cusco. During this tour, you will be able to explore the incredible hydraulic architecture of Tipón, the pre-
Inca’s structure of Pikillacta, the beautiful works of art of the Cusqueña de Andahuaylillas, in the middle of a
beautiful Andean landscape.

ITINERARY

08:30 a.m.
Cusco - Tipon - Pikillacta
This tour starts picking you up at your hotel around 08:30 a.m. Then we will go by bus to the south of Cusco, during
this trip we can see beautiful landscapes. The first stop will be the archaeological center of Tipón, an Inca ceremonial
center where the flow of water from the high peaks of Pachatusan hill to the lowlands of the valley was controlled
through a stone channel.

Later we will visit the Archaeological Complex of Pikillaqta, which literally means "city of fleas". It is an ancient
walled citadel of the Wari Empire, which was one of the most important regional centers of this culture in its
expansion to the city of Cusco.

1:30 p.m.
Andahuaylillas - Cusco
Finally, we will conclude the tour by visiting the beautiful Church of Andahuaylillas, a little gem of the colonial era,
also known as 'The Sistine of America', within which there is an impressive collection of canvases with golden frames
and wall paintings, baroque altarpieces and more. We can also appreciate the famous Penta lingual door. We will
return to the city of Cusco at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The Inca trail is without a doubt one of the most beautiful in the Americas, it will leave you an unforgettable
experience. Of a well-preserved wild nature among the mountain and jungle; Inca archaeological groups, related
by a path that offers stunning views. In a spiritual environment, the Incas used this itinerary as a pilgrimage route
to a sacred citadel, Machu Picchu.

INCA TRAIL ITINERARY:

1st Day: Cusco – KM 82 – Wayllabamba – Yuncachimpa (A) (C)


We leave by bus from Cusco (3350m), at 5:30 am. Along the way we observe extensive fields and villages that
maintain their ancestral traditions and customs. Kilometer 82 marks the meeting place with the support team
(porters) and the starting point of the Inca Trail. We continue to Wayllabamba (3100m), and finally take the ascent
to our Yuncachimpa camp (3300m).
Walking time 06 hours.
Including lunch and dinner.

2nd Day: Yuncachimpa – Llulluchapampa – Warmihuañusca – Pacaymayu – Chaquicocha (D) (A) (C)
The sunrise offers the most pleasant panorama of a cozy and enigmatic setting. Therefore, the morning is fresh by
taking the valley of Yuncachimpa (3300m), Lulluchapampa (3850m) and then the highest pass called
"Warmihuañusca" (4200m), where we observe the impressive Nevado Veronica. After enjoying, we descend to the
valley of Pacaymayu (3500m). Then we continue to the Runcuracay Pass (3950m): place where we see our
Chaquicocha camp (3650m), in the depths of the tropical forest.
Walking time 07 hours.

3rd Day: Chaquicocha – Wiñayhuayna (D) (A) (C)


It is the most beautiful day, because of the constant changes in the ecosystem: the tropical forests get denser. We
visited the archaeological groups of Phuyupatamarca (3600m) and Wiñayhuayna (2650m), place of our last camp.

4th Day: Wiñayhuayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco (D)


After breakfast, at 5:00 am, we head with our lanterns to Puerta del Sol (Inti Punku) at 2780m, where the sunrise
of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu appears by surprise. At 8 am, we visit the citadel of Machu Picchu (2400m), a
place that will enrich us, for its history and culture, in harmony with nature. Then you will have free time to enjoy
the tranquility, before taking the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and continuing by bus to Cusco
(3350m).
Walking time 02 hours.

2. The agency will not make any refund if the participant decides to cancel the trip or

3. The participant must declare whether he/she has any medical condition or personal treatment and must
bring his/her own medicine.

4. The agency will not be responsible for natural problems (Landslides) or other problems, in case of strikes
and departures of the delayed train.
5. All participants must bring their original passport and, if applicable, their STUDENT CARD "ISIC".

NOTES:

• Visit Huayna Picchu: For the visit to the Huayna Picchu mountain it is necessary to make the reservation
long in advance, in addition the additional amount of $60.00 USD which is the cost of admission to this
place, only so we can guarantee the visit Huayna Picchu. This cost for admission to Huayna Picchu began
according to a new state law since July 18, 2011.

• Extra carrier: According to the law of the carrier (26702) and supervised by the Ministry of Labour. The
collaboration of an extra carrier, is given in the conditions that the customer requires. Therefore this
customer bag must have a weight of 15 kilos and the personal things of the carrier 5 kilos, which both make
a total weight of 20 kilos, which the law stipulates in that way. The carrier service costs USD 120.00. It

INCA TRAIL ITINERARY:

1st Day: Cusco – KM. 104 – Wiñayhuayna (L) (D)


In the morning, train to kilometer 104, beginning of the Inca Trail. Our guide informs us about the role of the
archaeological group of Chachabamba (2270m). After 2 hours of ascent, we will visit Wiñayhuayna (2650m), the
most important archaeological group before Machu Picchu. Then we continue towards the Sun Gate or "Inti Punku",
to observe the sunset of Machu Picchu. On this day, we only have it to take advantage of some photos. We took
the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes. Overnight lodging and dinner in Aguas Calientes.

2nd Day: Aguas Calientes Village – Machu Picchu – Cusco (B)


After our breakfast, at 5:30 am, we head to Machu Picchu, by tourist transport. At 6 am, we visit the citadel of
Machu Picchu (2400m), a place that will enrich us, for its history and culture, in harmony with nature. Then you will
have free time to enjoy the tranquility, before taking the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and then
continue by bus to Cusco (3350m).
Breakfast included.

What do you need to bring?


Small backpack, warm and cold-weather clothing such as fleece, trousers and trekking shoes, poles, rain poncho,
cap, cloth, sunscreen, insect repellent and alcohol disinfectant in gel. Bottle of water and purifying pill. Camera
(wrapped in plastic bag), flashlight and batteries. Small snack selected chocolate bar. Original passport, Student
meat "ISIC" and extra money in soles.
