Mr. Goran: mechanical technician

• Equipment are two main types:

o Statics: like vessels and tanks.
o Rotary: pumps, air cooler, generators, evaporators, compressors, blower.
• Maintenance is divided into two types:
o Corrective: replacing the cracked equipment with a new one.
o Preventive: protecting the equipment from being damage by service team.
• Maintenances:
o Pumps: greased once a week.
o Generators: oil and filter change in 250 hours, and in 1000 hours complete maintenance
needed.
o Air cooler: every two days maintenance is needed.
o Evaporators: desalting if needed.
o Valves: once a year.
o Compressors: belt tension check and oil gauge.
• Pumps:
o Centrifugal pump: loading, wash tanks.
o Multistage pumps: used for evaporators.
o Plunger pump: chemical injectors.
o Diaphragm pump.
• Valves:
o Gate valve: high pressure valves, used in X-mas tree.
o Ball valves: regulated easily, used in chock manifold.
o Glob valve: used in separators and controlled easily.
o Check valves.
o Needle valve.
o PSV valve.
• Pipe classes: graded according to pressure, temperature, and fluid property.
o Well head – chock-: 15K graded.
o Chock-HP separator: 600 graded.
o HP separator-LP separator: 300 graded.
o LP separator- loading: 150 graded.

• RVP: Reid vaper pressure.
