Direct speech – the person's speech is repeated literally. It consists of simple


periods.
Indirect speech, called reported speech – is reported with our words what
the person said.

Indirect speech is defined as the recording of


the character's speech under the influence of
the narrator. In this type of speech, the verb
tenses are modified so that there is
understanding about the person who is
speaking. In addition, he usually mentions
the name of the speaker or makes some kind
of reference.
