Before you begin... www.etsy.com/shop/sleepysheeppatterns/
This doll is crocheted in the round from the feet to the head as mostly one piece,
the arms, antennae, wings and hair are sewn on. Try to crochet tightly and keep
the same gauge throughout the doll. Lila is about 5.5” tall (not including her
antennae) if you use the same hook and yarn that I did.
I used Paintbox Cotton DK yarn in Light Caramel (skin tone), Pure Black (legs,
antennae), Bubblegum Pink (hair), Lipstick Pink (antennae hearts, skirt, shoes,
wings), Blush Pink and Ballet Pink (striped body) and Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread
Classic 10 in Black (eyelashes).

You are welcome to use any size yarn (if you prefer worsted weight for example) but
you may have to use larger safety eyes.

How to do a clean F/O...

I use this for the legs, some color changes and sometimes to end the round. If I
don’t specify to use this type of F/O just use a normal F/O. You don’t have to use
this technique I just prefer to use it so that there are not any bumps and it makes for
a smoother color change and finished edge.

Insert your yarn needle Insert your yarn needle down

into the 2nd st from your into the middle of the last sc
F/O and pull yarn through you made on the last round
(where you F/O’d) and pull the
yarn through

This is what it should look

like when you’re done
