Keeping Children Safe Online - Technology Development to Counter Online

Grooming in India and the UK (Project DRAGON-S)

Join us for our free interactive workshop on keeping children safe from online child sexual
abuse and exploitation (OCSAE) through the development of technology-enabled support
resources. The workshop is a collaboration between the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
and Swansea University, and is supported by Universities Wales (Global Wales Fund).
The workshop will feature presentations from experts in Social Media and Empowerment,
OCSAE in the Indian and the British context, and offer an overview of Project DRAGON-S
(https://www.swansea.ac.uk/project-dragon-s/), funded by End Violence Against Children to
develop AI/Linguistics tools to help child safeguarding practitioners to detect and prevent
OCSAE (specifically online grooming).
The workshop will conclude with a session on technological
advances to keep children safe online. In person attendees In person attendance is
