from an early age. People tend to be convinced that their opinions on the subject are true
and that other opinions are wrong or inferior in some way. People's opinions about what is
appropriate in a male-female relationship don't change easily. Besides, there is another
obstacle to understanding male-female relationships namely stereotypes. People's gender
stereotypes can become a major obstacle in understanding male-female relationships.

slavery, remains a serious problem worldwide. Many also argue that is anti-women,
just as in pornography, is also a form of sexism

The themes underlying the women‘s liberation movements are individualism,
independence, and equality. Women liberation brings many impacts to men-female
relationships, such as:

o Single parent

Homosexuals have become much less reluctant than they used to be o be openly
acknowledged their sexual orientation.

Condition in Indonesia
The position of women in the transformation era of Indonesia is still considered
problematic. The issue is whether they behave traditionally to still follow and hold the ideal
norms of traditional Javanese culture and the tenets of Islam or become modern women as
having a modern lifestyle following the global movement and develop themselves in
adapting to the movement of modernization. While males are dominantly switched the
language to Bahasa Indonesia to show power, status, independence, identity, and
dominance.
